Vitamin D is a fat soluble Vitamin that has many important functions in the body including maintenance of bones and teeth, normal muscle function, neurotransmission, and cell division. Vitamin D deficiency has been highlighted as a national issue as rickets, a severe vitamin D deficiency disease, has re-emerged in children in recent years causing concern. Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin which means that the UV rays in the sunlight act on our skin to produce Vitamin D. Due to the longitudinal position of Ireland resulting in poor sun exposure and the lack of dietary sources of Vitamin D, it is difficult to source this vitamin in the diet.

Children 1-12 years: 0.5ml daily, or as directed by your health professional. Fill the dropper to the 0.5ml mark. May be taken direct or mixed with cold water or milk. Ages 12+ may also continue taking Kiddie D3 at this dosage, or as directed by their health professional. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
